Welcome to 5th grade!
May News:
Father John has been coming to pray and answer questions the fifth graders have about their faith. He also discusses the upcoming gospel and lets the students share their thoughts.
The fifth graders are learning about the American Revolution and we will have a guest speaker on Thursday 5/11 to give us more information.
DARE graduation was wonderful! All of the fifth graders did a great job expressing their dreams and their commitment to stay drug free.
The fifth graders field trip to the Shedd Aquarium was fun! we all had a great time!!!
Mr. Jaconetty came and shared his knowledge of the Declaration of Independence and gave all the fifth graders 2.00 bills!
We have been keeping up with current events and reading up to the minute news in Weekly Reader.
Aspire testing is complete and we all tried our best!
Pizza book reports are complete and look fantastic!!
The fantastic fifth graders continue to write in there gratitude journal and sharing three things they are grateful for everyday! I am grateful for their smiles and enthusiasm for school!
The fifth grade class keeps growing and learning. They are inquisitive and enthusiastic about learning new things and trying new things! Keep up the great work!
